"The uniqueness of Rosen Method Bodywork lies in the quality of the touch and presence of the practitioner. Bringing awareness to the inner body, Rosen Method touch helps in opening and removing layers of tension that separate us from our authentic self. We learn to recognize those moments of wholeness and to dwell in them." — Odile Atthalin, director of teaching, RMOC
The Rosen Method Open Center (RMOC) was created to offer the transformative experience of Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement both to those interested in personal development and to those interested in professional certification. We offer several avenues to explore this work: private bodywork sessions, open houses, lecture/demonstrations, workshops, on going classes and residential intensives.
RMOC is a supportive community of learning that includes certified teachers and practitioners, interns, students and participants, all committed to ongoing development of embodied self awareness and living more authentic lives through the practice of Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement.
This is the main website for the Rosen Method Open Center. It has the complete listings of activities, workshops, trainings, and information on how to find an RMOC practitioner or teacher. Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement was developed by Marion Rosen (1914-2012) and established her as a pioneer in the field of body mind integration, stress reduction, and complementary health care. Dedicated to sharing this dynamic approach to embodiment with the world, she began teaching students her method in 1977. Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement is now taught in certified training centers throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Australia. Graduates of these programs receive certification from the Rosen Institute. See more here.
